RECARO's Sensitivity Quality

What RECARO aims to attain next, with its unchanging and original seat philosophy leading to the right sitting posture, is pursuit of sensitivity quality. Along with changes in car riding fashion and lifestyle, and deepening of value concept of each user, RECARO has a lineup of finely tuned models in each of its four categories. Full bucket type seats are installed in a stock car and can offer sporty ride even on a public road. Semi bucket type seats realize driving comfort while remaining as sports seats. Here, human sensitivity which cannot be expressed by figures and theories alone plays an important role. A seat, naturally, is in direct contact with a driver's body. Therefore, what a driver feels about the car is what he/she feels about the seat, and driver's taste for cars links to that for seats.

Through fine tuning of factors such as the seat form and dimension, seat structure, profile and hardness of the urethane pad, and other functions equipped, we aim to manufacture seats which can cause resonance in sensitivity (= value concept) of each user.

Best practice of sensitive quality

Even though the both models, the SR-6 and SR-11, adopt the same seat structure IS05, they are based on each different basic concept. For the SR-6, the urethane pad has been tuned in hardness and profile so as to produce riding comfort like that of the full bucket seat. It is specifically indicated by the shoulder section subject to G-force which is supported by one roundish plane and the front edge section of the seat cushion which is about 30mm thinner than that of the SR-11 and whose angle is slightly more flat. The both models have been tuned in consideration of performance of sports driving. Further, the hardness of the urethane pad of the SR-6 is 1.5 times as large as that of the SR-11. On the other hand, in the case of the SR-11 for which driving comfort is especially emphasized, the profiles of the side support and the seat cushion have been tuned in a different approach from the SR-6. It is characterized by a softer urethane and a thicker seat cushion with an inclination angle. Both have been lined up so as to unfailingly meet different needs as the value sense of users toward the seats has become more deepened.

Further, the newborn model SR-7 has been designed and developed based on the analysis of the three preceding models (the SR-III, SR-6, and SR-11) and the analysis of "customer value criteria", aiming at a tuning which is different from those of the SR-6 and SR-11. As a result, a "sports & comfort" concept seat which is positioned between the SR-6 and SR-11 has been realized. After identifying what should be succeeded from the preceding models and what should be newly enhanced and designed, we pursued high tastes as a RECARO seat into its fine details.

If some models are similar in those appearances, there must be the pursuit of sensitive quality in shapes, hardness of urethane, equipped functions and difference of performance. It's all fun for you.
